Since the addition of new maps in the past few months, I've gotten a few messages regarding the inability to join a server due to map conflict or disconnecting from a server once a particular map loads. This is a common issue when downloading a map from another server that differs from the one we provide (in terms of map changes/edits) and cannot overwrite due to the maps having the same name.
Common error is:
Example : If you download surf_utopia_njv.bsp from "XXX" server then come over to WorldGamers, we may have certain edits on the same map to prevent cheating or glitching that the previous server may not have. Seeing how the filename is the same, but the maps are different, the server doesn't know how to proceed, so it disconnects you.
While there is no permanent fix for this, as you'll get map conflict jumping between different servers that have different versions (with the same map name) of the same map, there is a way to patch this up.
While the game is closed, you can navigate to your CS:GO maps (Default directory is "Your drive":\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps) and delete the .bsp and .nav (if applicable) of the particular map you're having issues with.
Once you reload the game, you should be able to load into the WorldGamers server with no issues and download the map version that we provide.
If you have any questions or issues with this procedure, please feel free to contact me either via Steam or PM.
